Note that the very first thing required in the National Curriculum is that teachers should aim to give every pupil the opportunity to experience success in learning and to achieve as high a standard as possible. This whole course is designed to give pupils the ability to realise their potential learning performance and enhance it so that they experience success in learning and know how they can achieve in their education at school and beyond.
This course covers much of what the National Curriculum general teaching requirements state about learning styles, setting suitable learning challenges, securing pupils’ motivation and concentration, setting targets for learning and overcoming potential barriers to learning.
This course also works especially was as a cross-curricula opportunity, with possible link-ups with Music, Art, Drama and English.
