Parent and Child Workshop - Programme 15

This course has been specifically designed to not only equip students with strategies to enhance their approach to academic life, but to help parents define a role in supporting their child's academic life.

The seminar is a fun, fast-moving, workshop style presentation. There are four workshops to choose from, all with the aim to enable parents to help their child in the learning process, being shown how to give their child the support they need at home.

Workshops Available All of these workshops are 2 hour evening programmes Study Skills and Exam Preparation
This workshop is for any age group. Parents and their children find out the best ways to study, memorise and revise.

Introduction to Big School
This workshop has been designed for new (or soon-to-be) year 7 / S1 students. Parents and their children are introduced to the expectations and pace of secondary school work with a focus on organisation skills.

What a Difference
This workshop has been designed for new (or soon-to-be) year 12 / S5 students. Parents and their children are introduced to the expectations and pace of A-level work with a focus on organisational skills, self-motivation and coping with large amounts of information.

It's Good to Communicate
This workshop has been designed for any age group. Parents and their children find out the best ways to communicate, work together and solve problems.
